Q&A

Do I need a passport?

A passport is required for travel to Mexico. Processing times can vary, so we suggest applying early. If it's your first time applying for a passport, you'll need to do so in person.

What currency do they use in Los Cabos?

The peso is Mexico's national currency, though many places in Los Cabos accept U.S. dollars for convenience. Major credit cards are also accepted in most establishments. Banks offer currency exchange during business hours. Universal ATMs are widely available for cash withdrawals at the current exchange rate, and most ATMs have menus in English. The ATMs only dispense pesos in most cases.

Can I drink the water in Mexico?

As a rule of thumb, you should stick to bottled or purified water in Mexico. All of the restaurants and hotels only serve purified water and YES, the ice is safe. The key to good health when traveling ANYWHERE is hydration and sunscreen. For more information, visit:

What should I wear?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outside. The ceremony will take place on the beach and the cocktail and dinner will be on the lawn. Wedges are a good option! (We recommend a wider heel but we will provide silicon heel covers if guests decide to bring stilettos)
Suggested Attire: Cabo Cocktail

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The Wedding Ceremony will take place on the beach at Chileno Bay Club. Note, you will have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the ceremony on the beach.

After the Ceremony, we will transport you to the reception which will be held at La Huerta, Chileno Bay’s Farm to Table Venue by the golf course.

When is the RSVP deadline?

If you already know whether or not you can make it, please feel free to let us know as soon as possible on the RSVP tab. The final RSVP will be indicated once the formal invites are sent.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is by invitation only.

What if I want to get my hair and makeup done?

Most of the Hotels will offer hair and make-up services on-site. Feel free to contact their Concierge team for further assistance.

Does Los Cabos Have Uber?

Yes, we have UBER, but please be aware that the cars they drive are much smaller than the ones in the states and we do not have UBER XL as of yet, so you will need to consider not more than 3 persons in your car per ride. I would recommend to book transportation through Impala from Airport to Hotel. As we do not recommend Uber service for the airport.

Do you have any recommended child care services?

We work with a professional babysitting company that has been helping families that come on vacations, assisting in weddings and events as well since 2010. All the sitters in their team speak perfect English and have their certifications up-to-date. They are all caring, loving, and always making sure the kids are having fun and being safe at all times.
